peanut butter and jelly

tacos and horchata

avocados and lime

sashimi and soy sauce

honey and lemon

passion tea and lemonade

strawberries and chocolate

oreos and milk

bananas and pancakes

fruit and yogurt

tomatoes and fresh mozzarella

..... this jet lag is impenetrable
it is as if

the day has combined hours with two whole days

i'm stuck sitting in my bed, my feet icy cold and just listening to the the bleak early hours of this cold morning tick - - and tock - - in such a mel-an-cho-lic way

my dogs

i can hear them sleeping

they smack their lips and swallow

it's strangely comforting to hear

trying so hard to not think of things too much.... it's awfully tiring
